Self-respect is the best means of getting the respect of others.

Have you known people who can’t stand to be alone for any length of time? The chances are good that those folks don’t like themselves very much. They need others around constantly to validate their own existence. Sadly, the people who need others the most are usually those whom others least like to be around. Because they don’t like themselves, other people seldom do either. The surest way to command the respect of others is to become a person you like being around. Identify the characteristics you admire in others and make a conscious effort to develop them yourself. Your self-respect begins to grow the moment you decide to take the first step toward becoming the kind of person you know you can be: a success.

Good intentions are useless until they are expressed in appropriate action.

Good intentions may be an appropriate starting point for achievement, but they will go nowhere unless you follow through with action. Many people confuse intentions with achievement; after all, it is the idea that is most important, they reason. In reality, the most mediocre idea acted upon is far more valuable than a flash of genius that resides only in your mind. Developing the habit of action may be difficult at first, but the more you practice it, the easier it becomes.

Elite methode

Vandaag trok een bericht vanuit de verkopersonline nieuwsbrief mijn aandacht, zie link... Het succes van de ELITE verkoopmethode De ELITE methode gaat niet uit van 'verkopen', maar van het 'in staat stellen van de koper om te gaan kopen', mijn inziens de enige manier om zaken te doen.

ELITE staat voor:
Environment questions, dit zijn vragen over de huidige klantomgeving.
Limitation questions, dit zijn vragen over de huidige beperkingen, moeilijkheden en 'ontevredenheden'.
Implication questions, dit zijn vragen over de consequenties van de beperkingen bij de klant.
Tailored questions, dit zijn vragen die de productvoordelen presenteren als maatwerk voor specifieke klantbehoeften.
Empowerment questions, dit zijn afsluitvragen, bedoeld om te ontdekken hoe de klant de oplossingen gaat implementeren.

Ikzelf ben opgegroeit met SPIN techniek:
Situatie gerichte vragen: deze dienen om achtergrond informatie te verzamelen en de context van de behoefte te begrijpen.
Probleem gerichte vragen: deze dienen om de punten te ontdekken waarover de klant ontevreden is en zijn bezorgdheden te leren kennen.
Implicatie vragen: deze dienen om een link te ontwikkelen tussen ogenschijnlijk losstaande problemen en hun impact op de werkgebieden van de klant zijn business.
Need-payoff vragen: deze nodigen de klant uit om de voordelen in te zien waarmee hij zijn problemen kan oplossen.

SPIN en ELITE hebben bijna dezelfde opbouw, met één klein belangrijk detail: De Need Payoff zijn opgedeelt in twee afzonderlijke onderdelen.
Allereerst Tailerd Questions, waarin de productvoordelen afgezet worden naar de specifieke klantbehoefte.
Als tweede Empowerment questions, dit zijn hele belangrijke vragen waarin de klant zichzelf in staat stelt om te visualiseren hoe de oplossing voor het bedrijf zal werken.

Succes met het formuleren van de cruciale vragen om de koper in staat te stellen, zijn "eigen" oplossing te kopen en jij als consultant/salespersoon tot de ELITE van jouw onderneming toetreedt.

Robin Williams - "Suicide is a Permanent Solution to Temporary Problems"

"I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone, it's not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people that make you feel alone." Qoute by Robin Williams, in which I want to add; it's even worse when people who you love, think they are so alone, that they didn't discuss their problems with a true friend.

Within one week we have lost two great people called Robin. But I do not know if either of them knew that suicide is a permanent solution, to a temporary problem.




real friends

You never know who your real friends are until adversity overtakes you and you need cooperation.

Everybody loves a winner, it has been said, but nobody knows you when you’re down and out. One of the often unappreciated benefits of adversity is that it accelerates the process of identifying your true friends. Most of us have many acquaintances and associates, but we are indeed fortunate if we have a handful of real friends. You will very quickly identify yours when you ask them for help. The wise individual is the one who, when asked for assistance, recognizes that he may one day find himself in the same situation.

Don’t ever admit that the world has not given you an opportunity.

Opportunities are never just handed to you; they must be created. Opportunities abound for every individual in every walk of life. They may not be the opportunities that you prefer, but each opportunity of which you take advantage leads to bigger and better opportunities. Physical and mental handicaps may mean that you have to explore territories unknown to others, but they also mean you have opportunities those others will never find. Think of Stephen Hawking’s brilliant research on the nature of the universe despite the fact that a crippling disease makes writing and speaking, as we know it, impossible for him. Those who approach their jobs and careers with enthusiasm always find plenty of opportunities, while those who complain about no one ever giving them a chance are merely observers of life. When you are determined that you will not allow others to determine your future for you, when you refuse to allow temporary setbacks to defeat you, you are destined for great success. The opportunities will always be there for you. If there are adversities that you cannot overcome right now, remember to capitalize upon them at a later date by looking for the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit.
